How to Apply

The application form saves your progress, so don’t worry about completing it in one sitting !

Admission to Presidency PU College, Kogilu is open to all.  Admission is granted on merit and against vacancies. Preference will be given to the students of Class X, presently studying in our CBSE & ICSE schools. Provisional admission is granted to students of class X based on the Entrance Test conducted in the school. The student is required to score a minimum of 60% in Mathematics and 60% in Science, with an aggregate of 65% in both the subjects.

Select Courses and fill in the Application

Under COURSES, view the various options. We have also mentioned briefly why you should opt for a particular stream, based on your future plans. Finalize the course you would like to apply for.

Confirmation of Application

Fill up the form available under the “Apply Now” button and click Submit. Make sure all fields marked as *Mandatory, are filled in with correct information. Forms with incomplete information will not be processed.

Once you have submitted your application, we will acknowledge receipt of your application by phone or email within two working days.

Application Review

Presidency will review your application to confirm you meet our requirements. If so, you will then be asked to complete an interview as part of the review process.

Application Interview / Written Assessment

Interviews are usually completed over the phone with a member of the Academic Team. The purpose of the interview is to get to know you better, hear about your future plans, understand why you are interested in the course. Those opting for  integrated Science (JEE/CET & NEET) will have to undergo written MCQ based assessment.

Payment of Fees

Presidency PU College will issue an invoice/ break-up of your first year tuition fees. On payment of this invoice you will be issued with a receipt of payment.

Requirements

Science Courses Eligibility

– Open to students 15.8 years and over at the time of admission.

– If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each band and 6.0 in speaking.

– All applicants are interviewed as part of the admissions process.

– Applicants not meeting the entry criteria may be considered on a case by case basis by the Academic Director. Consideration will be given to those with appropriate and evidenced previous academic history, prior work experience and life skills experience.

Commerce Courses Eligibility

– Open to students 18 years and over at course commencement

– If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each band and 6.0 in speaking.

– All applicants are interviewed as part of the admissions process.

– Applicants not meeting the entry criteria may be considered on a case by case basis by the Academic Director. Consideration will be given to those with appropriate and evidenced previous academic history, prior work experience and life skills experience.
